CARBON EPOX is a high-performance epoxy impregnating agent and adhesive for bi-component FRP systems composed of:
• Component A: a compound of liquid epoxy prepolymers, fillers and additives.
• Component B: a co-polymerisation amine.
Once fully cured, the material becomes a yellowed transparent solid with excellent hardness, resistance to compression and tensile strength.
DESTINATION OF USE:
CARBON EPOX is used for the reinforcement of structural elements with polymer-matrix composite systems and, together with the fabrics ARMIS CARBON 300, ARMIS CARBON 600 and ARMIS CARBON QUAD, forms part of the FRP CARBON 300, FRP CARBON 600 and FRP CARBON QUAD systems. The rheological characteristics of the product allow it to be easily and quickly mixed and promote the efficient impregnation of the fibres in carbon-fibre fabrics while avoiding vertical running.
The TASSULLO ARMIS line includes structural mortars, meshes and anchoring systems for the consolidation, restoration and securing of both masonry and concrete structures.
The products are suitable for applications ranging from classical techniques for historical restoration to more modern techniques using fibre-reinforced composite systems. A complete range of systems accompanied by European and Italian certifications that allow their use for structural purposes, in line with the requirements of current regulations.
