ELASTAN-BIT is a multi-purpose liquid waterproofing membrane, formulated with bitumen in water emulsion, selected elastomeric resins and special additives.‎ ELASTAN-BIT is suitable to waterproof: old and new bituminous membranes, flat non-walkable concrete surfaces, foundation walls and concrete shafts, balconies and terraces, bathrooms and showers, fibrocement, metal coverings, where the use of torches for the polymer bitumen membrane application is forbidden, coating and waterproofing concrete balconies, before bonding stoneware or klinker tiles where a solution with bitumen polymer membranes is not possible; create a waterproofing and bonding primer for subsequent bonding of tiles with the appropriate cementitious adhesives (category C according to EN 12004); recommended for cold bonding of polymer bitumen membranes on old polymer bitumen membranes or new coverings made of concrete, metal or wood, alternatively to the traditional torch-applied polymer bitumen membrane.‎ Further info from manufacturer on ELASTAN-BIT Teca
