Designed by Elisa Ossino, GRID is an electric radiator that interprets the relationship between surface, function and heat.‎ The design draws inspiration from the equipped walls of workshops and laboratories, transforming a technical element into an architectural presence with a strong graphic sign.‎ Made of recycled and recyclable aluminium, it stands out for its thin radiant panel, just 1.‎5 cm thick, characterised by a pattern of circular openings that defines the rhythm of the surface.‎ In the configuration without accessories, GRID expresses its formal essentiality to the utmost, blending naturally into contemporary environments.‎ Available in all 140 colours in the Tubes colour chart and in two sizes, it can be installed either vertically or horizontally, adapting to different contexts and design configurations.‎ GRID is available in the standard 220/240 V electric version and in the extra-low voltage 24 V variant.‎ This solution expands the possibilities of use, allowing it to be safely installed even in wet environments, such as bathrooms.‎ No masonry work or flush-mounted installation is required: simply connect to the mains or, in the 24 V version, to the relevant transformer kit.‎ A design radiator that becomes a visual and functional element, capable of combining order, aesthetic modularity and minimal rigour.‎ The Elements collection is the expression of a desire to eliminate stereotypes and pre-established industrial design processes.‎‎ In a society that is free from conditioning, objects - whatever kind they may be - can “release themselves” too; that is to say, they can eliminate technical aesthetics and undergo design modifications.‎‎ So freeing a radiator from its valves and position these at a distance of as much as six metres, thanks to a patented built-in unit, is equivalent to freeing it from its typical technical appearance.‎‎ This brings about new possibilities of interpretation of form according to aesthetic-intellectual rules that differ from previous ones.‎‎ For this reason, along with the Basics and Extras collections, the company introduced the Elements collection, created by architects and designers of international renown.‎‎ Elements becomes a “container of ideas” where the designers are called upon to create radiators that are more closely linked with the aesthetics of the home, where the sensual warmth of heating products is integrated into the architectural space with the same dignity and importance in project terms as other contemporary interior decoration elements.‎‎ Further info from manufacturer on GRID Tubes
