URBI et ORBI STRATA Cement table lamp

Strata table lamp was designed by CTRLZAK for the Urbi et Orbi Medius Terra collection in 2024.‎ Strata is a series inspired by natural geological formations (stratification).‎ It captures sedimentation, erosion, and volcanic activity through stacked layers, symbolizing the passage of time.‎ The design is inspired by the Mediterranean region's diverse landscapes and geological phenomena.‎ The overlapping layers of mineral compositions represent the geological history of the Mediterranean and our planet.‎ Strata encourages reflection on our perception of time through geology and the natural world.‎ The Strata concrete table lamp is designed for indoor use and features a unique finish that can only be achieved with concrete as a base material.‎ Each piece is unique and different, holding onto the design concept.‎ It was a construction challenge for us, and we loved it from the first moment when it was still an idea.‎ We developed special production techniques to approach such a natural appearance.‎ Ideal for commercial or residential spaces, available in a cold and warm color palette.‎ This lamp could also be placed outdoors due to the waterproof LED module, discreetly illuminating areas of the space.‎ Led Module  IP 65 Type C plug (EU) Input (V):230V – 2.‎2watt >50.‎000h.‎ 280 Lumen- 35° 3000K, 4000K, 5000K CE - IP20   The Medius Terra collection is a captivating celebration of the Mediterranean's soul.‎ More than just a collection, it embodies our essence – a testament to the enduring character of this remarkable region.‎ Inspired by the Genius Loci, the spirit of the place, Medius Terra delves into the heart of the Mediterranean.‎ It's an ode to the sun-drenched landscapes, the vibrant cultures, and the timeless traditions that weave the fabric of this cherished sea and its surrounding lands.‎ The distinctiveness of this collection arises from the fusion of diverse perspectives brought forth by the three contributing designers: Gian Paolo Venier of OTTO Studio, Sotiris Lazou Design Studio, and CTRLZAK.‎ Further info from manufacturer on STRATA URBI et ORBI
