Vertigo Bird SLIM TOO LED aluminium pendant lamp

Once again, the simplicity is the main theme of Slim too lamps.‎ The direct, raw quality of 2 different aluminium profiles housing LED light source, as well as electronics, creates a light that is minimal, discrete and 'anonymous', and at the same time very 'present' in space.‎ Suitable both for office or home use - as our homes increasingly become our offices, and vice versa – Slim too exists in different sizes and colour schemes, allowing for customization.‎The floor and vertical suspension versions are in the works, as well as more, limited edition colour combinations, to be announced soon.‎ Material: aluminium Colours: black, white, gold Dimensions Slim too long  (L) 2000 Slim to short  (L) 1600 The magic of these arresting, elegant lamps is simplicity.‎ The lamp forms a minimalist narrow beam of light and two graphic lines: one rigid, one curved.‎ The design goal for the Slim lamp was to merge a standard fluorescent tube with the ballast module into a single object.‎ The ballast module is housed in a bottle-like extension of a metal pipe, which is laser-cut for optimal light emission.‎ The result is a lamp with a monolithic and dignified appearance with an unusually slim body.‎ Slim can be used as a vertical-suspension wall lamp, a free-standing lamp, or a standard horizontal office lamp.‎ The direction of the light beam can be regulated by hand.‎ The lamp shade can be adjusted by 20 degrees.‎ The vertical pendant lamp doesn’t require any electrical connection on the ceiling because it feeds from a wall socket.‎ And Slim can be used at home, in the office, or in public spaces.‎ The Slim horizontal suspension lamp won the 2009 Red Dot Product Design Award.‎ Further info from manufacturer on SLIM TOO Vertigo Bird
