AMOEBE / AMOEBE HIGHBACK - Кресло из коллекции PANTON UPHOLSTERY
The Amoebe chair was created in multiple versions in 1970 for the famous “Visiona II” installation by Verner Panton, a bold, psychedelic, and futuristic environment set up by the legendary Danish architect and designer in a dedicated pavilion at the Cologne Furniture Fair. Amoebe embodies the philosophy and free spirit of 1960s design. The seat and backrest form a sculptural unit, while its organic shape, as the name suggests, is inspired by unicellular organisms. The soft upholstery of the chair ensures excellent comfort.
In the Amoebe Highback version, the elongated backrest curves over the head of the seated person like a canopy. This distinctive feature gives the iconic chair a sense of privacy and intimacy, creating a secluded space.
