Wave Murano Glass SCILLA Countertop round Murano glass washbasin

SCILLA washbasin is a stunning masterpiece crafted entirely by hand by Wave Murano Glass.‎ It features intricate details created through the ancient "rostrato" technique.‎ Each layer is carefully applied to create an incandescent "rope" along the external diameter of the cup, which is then pulled and shaped by hand, "spike" by "spike", using tweezers.‎ This process requires immense skill and precision, as the scorching mass of glass must be kept at a stable temperature to prevent thermal shock and potential breakage.‎ The results are truly breathtaking, with a majestic piece that creates a unique ambiance in the bathroom.‎ Further info from manufacturer on SCILLA Wave Murano Glass
