Woodnotes AVENUE Striped rug

Designed by Ritva Puotila, the fresh stripy paper-yarn carpet collection has been enhanced with two new designs, Avenue and Bridge.‎ There are four colour variations for both designs and with these designs also three new paper yarn colours are introduced: nutria, brass and green.‎ The new carpets are available with sewn edges and thin turned ends as well as with edging and backing.‎ Both Avenue and Bridge have striping that runs all through the carpet.‎ The wide asymmetrical stripes in the Avenue carpets structure space in a new way and offer opportunities to play with the rest of the decor.‎ According to Puotila, the naturality of paper yarn inspires clean and clear shapes and colours.‎ Avenue and Bridge carpets are a new accent to the Woodnotes collection, a spontanious song for springtime.‎ The exciting striping break up the colour tones and really bring them out.‎ It matters to Ritva Puotila that each colour, whether muted or bright, lives long and in a variety of environments.‎
