ADL ARCHI Glass and aluminum door system with sliding, rototranslating, or pivot openings

The common idea of three-dimensional architectural space mostly recalls cubic volumes defined by flat surfaces and right angles.‎ From a cosmic and atomic point of view, however, this idea leads us back to a spherical shape, with the circle as its two-dimensional representation.‎ In many cultures, the circle is a symbol of life, harmony, and perfection, precisely because it unites the microcosm (cells) with the macrocosm (the planet and the concept of the universe).‎ ARCHI is a new ADL project that aims to connect these two apparently contrasting ideas of space by proposing a new vision that encompasses both.‎ It is a model that inscribes the shape of the circle within the extremely thin aluminum frames that define the glass panels.‎ Three compositional solutions offer three different interpretations of the circle's relationship with the geometry of the connection element: tangent to horizontal lines, to vertical lines, or detached from all lines.‎ Each composition can feature one or more circles, depending on the number of doors and the desired architectural impact.‎ ARCHI is available in all ADL aluminum finishes.‎ Five new glass colors have been specifically created—Blush Pink, Tulip Yellow, Aqua Green, Sky Blue, and Infinity White.‎ These shades not only add a sophisticated touch of color to the composition but also introduce a subtle opacity that enhances the presence of the circular shape, either as the main subject or as a visual passe-partout inviting one to look through.‎ Types of opening systems: sliding door sliding door with drag rototranslating door pivot without jamb TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS Aluminium In extruded aluminium alloy EN AW 6O-6O, temper designation T6.‎ Anodic oxidation in compliance with regulations in force.‎ Glass panes The glass panes are always safe: tempered / laminated / laminated tempered.‎ Shatterproof glass in compliance with regulations in force.‎ 6 mm glass pane.‎ Crosspieces Applied to both sides of the glass pane in grid patterns using adhesive supports.‎ OPENING SYSTEMS Sliding system Telescopic track.‎ The system permits the track to be perfectly level, guaranteeing that the doors always slide fluidly.‎ Sliding door carriage with 4 nylon coated bearings.‎ Maximum load 120 kg per carriage.‎ Automatic breaking mechanism for the opening and closing of the leaf, standard on all models.‎ The system for installing the leaf onto the carriages is completely concealed.‎ Telescopic door stop profile with travel of 12 mm (for ceiling-mounted track).‎ Pivot without jambs system Panel handling system that does not require any ceiling or floor arrangement or a jamb, but only two simple elements.‎ The hinge, integrated in the profile of the frame, allows opening in both directions with an automatic stop when closing and with the door stopping at 90°.‎ Rototranslating system The rototranslating system allows the panels to rotate on their own centre distance and move up to the wall without the need for any floor track.‎ This technology allows you to have panels up to 130 cm wide, which, when closed, are perfectly aligned to the walls and, when open, free up over 90% of the passageway.‎ Further info from manufacturer on ARCHI ADL
