AERtegola® - Вентилируемая кровельная система
From the almost twenty years' experience of the AERcoppo® system in the ventilation of roof tiles, the AERtegola® system is born, the simplest, most elementary and effective system for laying ventilated roofs with a covering of Portuguese or similar tiles, making it possible to obtain a ventilation chamber of 650 cm2/m, without obstructions that prevent the convective motions from working properly and with an installation in compliance with standard UNI 9460:2008 "Instructions for the design, execution and maintenance of roofs using clay or concrete tiles". It safeguards the waterproofing layer, as the base DOES NOT HAVE TO BE MECHANICALLY FIXED TO THE LAYING SURFACE.
The AERtegola® system can be used on any type of roof and is composed of all the elements required for correct operation and sealing of the membrane; their presence is indicated by the AERtetto s.r.l. technical office according to the type of roof and its dimensions. It is thanks to the punctiform nature of the core element, the AERtegola® footing, that the system is unique.
The undertile ventilation chamber, created thanks to the AERtegola® feet for raising and locking the tiles, is 650 cm2/m net and the air outlet from the ventilation AERcolmo® is 330 cm2/m. The patented AERtegola® foot, made of UV-stabilised copolymer polypropylene, is to be applied to the side of each tile. It does not require mechanical fastening (by nailing) to the laying surface. The starting grid is made of 12/10 galvanised steel and painted with epoxy powders, with the function of parapasser and to support the heavy load of the pitch (air inlet 360 cm2/m). The ventilation AERcolmo® is made of 10/10 galvanised steel and painted with epoxy powders, equipped with pre-painted aluminium rainscreens, it allows for real hot air disposal (air outlet 330 cm2/m).
Advantages of AERtegola®:
- VENTILATION CHAMBER: the AERtegola® system, with its punctiform nature, creates an air space with a constant cross-section of 650 cm2/m, without battens that could in any way obstruct the upward convective movements of hot air, and guarantees true ventilation in accordance with the UNI 9460:2008 standard "Instructions for the design, execution and maintenance of roofs made with clay or concrete tiles".
- GUARANTEE: the AERtegola® system guarantees dry laying of the tiles in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturers supplying the system: the tiles must not be in contact with hygroscopic material, which would cause the product's guarantee to lapse; it therefore complies with the provisions of the UNI and ANDIL standards on correct laying.
- EASE OF INSTALLATION AND SPEED OF INSTALLATION: thanks to the nature of the system and its light weight (63 g per foot), which facilitates movement at height, AERtegola® can be installed and dismantled, even by non-expert workers, with speed and simplicity unequalled on the market, on any type of pre-existing roof, whether it has a wooden, brick or metal structure.
- FLEXIBILITY OF THE THERMO-ACUSTIC PACKAGE: AERtegola® is completely independent from the underlying insulation/waterproofing layers, and can therefore be applied to any type of thermal-acoustic insulation package, leaving freedom in the choice of materials and thicknesses.
- PEDESTRIANABILITY AND STABILITY OF THE ROOF: the tiles are raised from the footing and connected to each other by means of their interlocking overlaps, which makes the covering safely walkable, resistant to the strongest winds, such as mistral and bora, to snowfall and to vibrations created by means of transport.
- DURABILITY OF THE ROOFING: The continuous passage of air under the tiled roofing membrane ensures that it dries quickly in the event of rain, preventing deterioration due to frost and the formation of moss. It also helps eliminate condensation if breathable thermal insulation packages are used, thus maintaining the characteristics of the roof covering and insulation over the years.
- CONTINUITY OF THE SHELL ON THE ROPE: the ventilation chamber is placed above the waterproofing layer, allowing the continuity of the waterproofing even on the ridge, avoiding infiltrations in the underlying structure.
- INTEGRITY OF THE WATERPROOF: thanks to its nature, the AERtegola® footing does not require mechanical fixings to the laying surface, thus avoiding the risks of rainwater infiltration due to the perforation of the waterproofing layer.
- ADAPTED TO RECOVERY AND RESTORATION: the load-bearing and universal starting grid allows the AERtegola® system to be adapted to any Portuguese or similar tile profile.
- INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF INTEGRATED PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS: the AERtegola® system integrates perfectly with renewable energy production systems installed on roofs, whether of the integrated or non-integrated type, decreasing their loss of efficiency due to overheating, thanks to the ventilation chamber, which in the integrated type becomes 600 cm2/m.
