H09 is an open bookshelf.‎ Bookshelf with vertical elements in lacquered aluminium and shelves in: - multilayer plywood in pre-composed oak veneer or in coloured stains - multilayer plywood in wood veneer - mat lacquered MDF Available in two depths: 28 cm or 38 cm.‎ It is possible to add front and back panels.‎ Designed by Alberto and Francesco Meda, HUB is a collection that interprets the modular wall system in its rigorous design.‎ With hub you can create versatile compositions that meet the needs of contemporary living: spacious bookcases, functional sideboards and light open wall units that extend the various functional possibilities of the living room.‎ Articulated and essential, Hub is built around the relationship of three elements: vertical elements out of extruded aluminium, elegant and slender wooden shelves, and front and back panels that define solids and voids within the configuration.‎ Hub’s extruded vertical elements are fixed to the wall thanks to an invisible mounting system.‎ The vertical elements may be either floor-standing, with adjustable feet, or suspended.‎ The shelves, available in two depths, are fixed to the vertical elements by means of aluminium joints.‎  Thanks to its different configurations, Hub becomes a centerpiece that brings together the various functions of the living area.‎ Further info from manufacturer on HUB BOOKSHELF 140 Alias
