DnewCO -Baie Box combines two highly effective materials from an acoustic point of view:
The actual box in MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard)
The internal lining of the box in rock wool on three sides.
The result: excellent acoustic insulation values Dn,e,w+Ctr certified by a Cofrac accredited test laboratory. These values reach 51 (with air ingress) and 56 (without air ingress).
With a thermal transmittance coefficient Uc<1 (calculated according to RE2020 - standard NF EN ISO 10077-2), the DnewCO - Baie Box contributes to the energy performance of the building envelope, limiting the losses that traditional shutter boxes might cause.
In addition, the integrated air inlet optimises the continuous air exchange within the living space, complying with NF EN 13141-1 (2019). At a pressure of 20 Pa, the renewed air volume is approximately 35 m³/h: this value is more than 5 times higher than for a box without an air inlet.
With their compactness and reduced depth, DnewCO Baie Boxes preserve the aesthetics of the interior. In addition, the precision of highly controlled industrial production guarantees a high quality finish.
The DnewCO - Baie Box wooden shutter box is compatible with the main wired or radio-controlled motorisation systems available on the market. In addition, the box can accommodate all rolling shutters in the Alpac range.
