ABLA – WEIGHT is a hand-knotted, deep-pile rug made by Benisouk.
A high-pile rug in natural wool with a dense, substantial pile, hand-knotted at our atelier in the Middle Atlas. The field is left largely plain, so the piece reads through its thickness and hand rather than through pattern.
No added dye. The wool is selected for its fibre strength, then spun and knotted to a higher density than the standard pile.
The rug has real weight when lifted and settles well on hard floors. Available with a backing suited to hard floors.
