Benisouk ASTRAL TANGO – EMBER Hand-knotted shag rug

ASTRAL TANGO – EMBER is a hand-knotted, deep-pile rug produced by Benisouk.‎ A high-pile rug in deep red and rust wool, hand-knotted at our atelier in Mrirt.‎ The tone sits between wine and terracotta, dense at the base of the pile and lighter where the fibre catches the light.‎ The wool is dyed before spinning in successive passes, building the colour in layers rather than applying it flat.‎ The result varies slightly from one rug to the next.‎ The pile is thick underfoot and keeps its depth of colour over time.‎ Available with a backing suited to hard floors.‎ Further info from manufacturer on ASTRAL TANGO – EMBER Benisouk
