CELESTIAL GEOMETRIES – ORBIT is a hand-knotted, deep-pile rug made by Benisouk.‎ A high-pile rug in warm and cool wool arranged in interlocking geometric shapes, hand-knotted at our atelier in Mrirt.‎ The shapes sit close together across the field, each holding a distinct tone within a loosely ordered layout.‎ The wool, a blend of fine New Zealand and Moroccan fibre, is dyed in separate lots before spinning, then knotted shape by shape.‎ Colour boundaries vary slightly from one rug to the next.‎ The pile is dense and keeps its geometry well with use.‎ Available with a backing suited to hard floors.‎ Further info from manufacturer on CELESTIAL GEOMETRIES – ORBIT Benisouk
