Benisouk CHAJAR – ROOT Hand-knotted shag rug

CHAJAR – ROOT is a hand-knotted, deep-pile rug made in Benisouk.‎ A high-pile rug in natural wool with a branching, tree-like motif knotted in relief, hand-knotted at our atelier in the Middle Atlas.‎ The lines spread unevenly across the ground, thickest near the centre and thinning toward the edges.‎ The pile is dense and soft.‎ No added dye.‎ The motif is carried in a deeper natural tone, worked into the same undyed wool as the ground.‎ The pile compresses and recovers its height with use.‎ Available with a backing suited to hard floors.‎ Further info from manufacturer on CHAJAR – ROOT Benisouk
