Benisouk ELBAYDA – STILLNESS Hand-knotted shag rug

ELBAYDA – STILLNESS is a hand-knotted, deep-pile rug made by Benisouk.‎ A high-pile rug in undyed natural wool with a near-plain field, hand-knotted at our atelier in the Middle Atlas.‎ The surface is left quiet, with little more than the natural variation of the fleece breaking the ground.‎ The pile is dense and even.‎ No added dye.‎ The wool is worked as it comes from the sheep, without bleaching or bathing.‎ The pile compresses under weight and recovers its loft with time.‎ Available with a backing suited to hard floors.‎ Further info from manufacturer on ELBAYDA – STILLNESS Benisouk
