Benisouk INK FLOWING – CURRENT Hand-knotted shag rug

INK FLOWING – CURRENT is a hand-knotted, deep-pile rug made by Benisouk.‎ A high-pile rug in deep blue-black wool with a fluid, marbled movement through the field, hand-knotted at our atelier in Mrirt.‎ The tone pools and thins across the surface, closer to spilled ink than to a fixed motif.‎ The wool, a blend of fine New Zealand and Moroccan fibre, is dyed before spinning in a wash that lets the colour move unevenly.‎ Each rug carries its own pattern of flow.‎ The pile keeps its depth of tone and density with regular use.‎ Available with a backing suited to hard floors.‎ Further info from manufacturer on INK FLOWING – CURRENT Benisouk
