Benisouk STRUCTURED CHAOS – FRACTURE Hand-knotted shag rug

STRUCTURED CHAOS – FRACTURE is a hand-knotted, deep-pile rug made by Benisouk.‎ A high-pile rug in contrasting dark and light wool arranged in broken, angular fields, hand-knotted at our atelier in Mrirt.‎ The shapes interrupt each other without a repeating order, so the surface reads differently depending on where the eye lands.‎ The wool is dyed in separate batches, then knotted section by section to build the broken layout.‎ No two rugs share the same exact arrangement.‎ The pile is dense and holds its edges well with use.‎ Available with a backing suited to hard floors.‎ Further info from manufacturer on STRUCTURED CHAOS – FRACTURE Benisouk
