Benisouk TANGERINE DREAM – ARDOR Hand-knotted shag rug

TANGERINE DREAM – ARDOR is a hand-knotted, deep-pile rug made in Benisouk.‎ A high-pile rug in warm orange and amber wool, hand-knotted at our atelier in Mrirt.‎ The colour is worked in graduated tones from deep rust to bright tangerine, so the field shifts gently across the surface.‎ The pile is dense, rising about four centimetres from the base weave.‎ The wool is dyed in small batches before spinning, then knotted so the shade moves without a hard edge.‎ Two rugs from the same batch will never match exactly.‎ The pile holds its loft under regular use and softens slightly with time.‎ Available with a backing suited to hard floors.‎ Further info from manufacturer on TANGERINE DREAM – ARDOR Benisouk
