Stiv is the new dining table from the BertO Collection that combines the elegance of marble and crystal with the sculptural soul of a solid wood base, creating a unique and functional design for your dining room.‎ The Castello Lagravinese Studio designers, in collaboration with the BertO Research and Development Team, have designed the Stiv table to furnish the most exclusive dining rooms.‎ Stiv's structure combines the natural beauty of solid wood, which perfectly retains its natural beauty, with light and contoured lines, inspired by the harmonic forms of nature.‎ The inclination of the legs is obtained with the most advanced technologies, the convergence in the centre is enhanced by skilful workmanship of the solid wood, available in Canaletto walnut with natural and Dark Oil finish and in open pore black-stained ash.‎ Each leg is made by carving and working solid wood with the latest high-tech technologies, guaranteeing solidity and durability over time.‎ The structure supports the oval top of the table, available in two variants: bevelled glass, smoked black finish, which enhances and highlights the beauty of the sculpted base, or marble to add a touch of unparalleled refinement.‎ The Stiv table matches perfectly with all the accessories in the Collection, especially with the Joan and Cherie chairs.‎ TECHNICAL INFORMATION Base: in solid American walnut or ash wood, crafted with 5-axis numerical control; Top: in 16 mm multi-layered glass (8 mm smoked glass on the upper side and 8 mm extra-clear glass on the lower side), 30 mm bevel and 2 cm thick marble with contoured edge and natural glossy finish (Carrara, Marquinia, Deep Grey, Marinace Black or Emerald quartzite); Plate for glass top: in stainless steel with die-cut gasket in non-stick transparent plastic, 40mm bevel; Plates for marble top: fixing system of the marble underside to the base of the table, made up of 4 pairs of adjustable plates, specially designed to compensate for and provide for the natural movements and twists of the solid wood base; Underside for marble: in multi-layered MDF with dark grey aluminium and contoured edge.‎ The Stiv table in solid Canaletto walnut is handcrafted.‎ Further info from manufacturer on STIV BertO
