This collection of vases composed of two different decors represents the language of the French designer, made of sculptural codes, simple graphics and saturated tones: a particular style that is characterized by round shapes in a costant disequilibrium, the passion for flat tints - blue especially -, and the contrast between matt and glossy effects.
The decor of Ruban Volé is a reference to the story of the stolen ribbon from Jean-Jacques Rousseau's Confessions: through this cultured quote, the graphic sign that embraces the shape of the vase acquires a more profound meaning that symbolises the identity and complexity of the human soul.
