The PDC NB-IoT Minilogger is a smart water metering product.‎ It reads the pulses generated by the reed or Open Collector pulse launcher applied to the water meter and transmits the consumption via NB-loT, a state-of-the-art, low consumption transmission technology with almost total coverage of the European population.‎ Transmission saves reading costs and provides immediate notification of any faults or tampering.‎ The PDC Nb-IoT Minilogger is also equipped with a Bluetooth module for connection with a smartphone using an App for configuring the device and reading the transmitted data.‎ MAIN FUNCTIONALITIES NB-loT: Once-a-day data transmission Storage of 90 days of readings Transmission is based on UDP protocol in order to optimise data traffic Extremely secure protocol Possibility of downloading the microcontroller firmware update Long-lasting replaceable battery Bluetooth: Can be activated with magnetic switch Device connects with app on tablet/smartphone for configuration and/or maintenance Possibility to update firmware Autonomy: over 10 years under typical conditions of use
