Calligaris MANTA Upholstered fabric chair without armrests

The MANTA chair stands out for the unique design of its leg, whose shape evokes the elegance of the marine animal from which it takes its name.‎ Wide at the top and tapering toward the end, the leg features a soft, dynamic profile that ends in a slender tip.‎ The metal frame features a slight mechanical compression at the top that expands the metal, creating a distinctive detail.‎ This detail is consistently echoed at the bottom, where the tube tapers, creating a visual and formal balance that evokes the manta ray’s tapered tail.‎ This detail gives the chair a distinctive character, evoking the fluidity and strength of the manta ray in motion.‎ The seat and backrest are padded and upholstered in fabric, with a seat designed for everyday use: the elastic straps enhance comfort and durability over time.‎ The backrest is secured without visible screws, highlighting a clean, premium aesthetic that is ideal for contemporary dining and living spaces.‎ Further info from manufacturer on MANTA Calligaris
