The body of Henco screw fittings is made of brass CuZn40Pb2 (CW617N) or CuZn39Pb3 (CW614N) and is normally tin-plated.‎ Pipe fittings are equipped with an O-ring and a clamping screw with an open compression collar.‎ The collar is not nickel-plated.‎ Like the brass press fittings, they are equipped with a plastic separator ring to prevent electrolysis between brass and aluminium.‎ In both the screw-on and press-fitting ranges, several pipe fittings are available to make connections between copper or steel pipes and Henco pipes.‎
