- Pipe for water network in 5 m STANDARD bars (PE-Xc / AL / PE-Xc) with minimum aluminium thickness of 0.‎40 mm.‎ Available in all diameters: S Ø 12-14 M Ø 16-17-18 L Ø 20-26-32 XL Ø 40-50-63 XXL Ø 75-90 - Pipe for water network in 5 m bars RIXc (PE-Xc / AL / PE-Xc) with minimum aluminium thickness of 0.‎20 mm.‎ Available in diameters 16 - 20 - 26 mm The Henco multilayer pipe consists of a longitudinally butt-welded aluminium tube with an inner and outer layer of electron-beam cross-linked polyethylene.‎ The different layers are joined together through a high-quality adhesive layer, creating a multilayer pipe that combines all the advantages of plastics and metal pipes.‎ The inner and outer pipes are manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) granules and then cross-linked by electron beams.‎ Thanks to the cross-linking process, the natural qualities of polyethylene are greatly enhanced, contributing among other things to the pipe's ability to better withstand the load of temperatures and pressures.‎ The pipe meets the strictest standards for sanitary installations and is resistant to aggressive substances.‎ The aluminium pipe guarantees oxygen impermeability and is non-deformable.‎ Thanks to the longitudinal butt-welding process, the aluminium retains the same thickness throughout.‎ As a result, the cross-linked outer layer that is applied to the aluminium tube via the adhesive layer will also retain the same thickness throughout, which also benefits pressing operations by perfectly distributing the pressing forces.‎ Depending on the tube diameter, the thickness of the aluminium layer has been calculated in such a way that the tube will always retain the best flexibility.‎ Henco produces a multilayer pipe in which both the inner and outer pipe are made of 'PE-Xc', polyethylene cross-linked by electron beams.‎ PE means polyethylene X means cross-linked c means cross-linked by electron beams, i.‎e.‎ the way polyethylene is cross-linked.‎ Cross-linking by electron beams is the best and cleanest way to cross-link polyethylene.‎ Henco is the only company to have a pipe and fitting system tested at 16 bar.‎ Valid for diameters 16, 20, 26 and 32 mm, for standard Henco pipe, for PVDF and brass press fittings, and for Henco Vision quick connect fittings.‎
