CASA +39 TORII Rectangular wooden table

The inspiration for the Torii table comes from the clean, sculptural lines of the ancient Japanese gates that littered the sacred, meditative spaces of sanctuaries.‎ Whit this luxury reinterpretation, we wish to bring a piece of the same peaceful and imposing presence in our environments.‎ As for tradition, it is made in a wooden finishing, but with some brass accents to add some unique feature to its very essential design.‎ The Torii table is a sculptural system that grows in harmony with the number of its legs.‎ Each added leg is not a simple support, but a statement of presence, a column that celebrates the structural elegance of the design.‎ The leg becomes the aesthetic and structural fulcrum of the project.‎ In this table, the leg is no longer a simple support, but an architectural module: each addition of a leg allows the table top to extend in length, almost like an organism that grows in proportion to its supporting structure.‎ The effect is both visual and functional: the table maintains a continuous, fluid line that accompanies the gaze along the Torii legs, repeated rhythmically like the columns of a portico, from an intimate dining table to an imposing banquet table without losing aesthetic coherence or proportion.‎ Further info from manufacturer on TORII CASA +39
