Cassina DOT PATTERN LIGHT Metal pendant lamp

DOT PATTERN LIGHT by the masters Charles & Ray Eames is a key example of Cassina's ability to transform an abstract sign into a living element.‎ This year, the lamp composed of rods and luminous spheres, organised in cross-shaped compositions, is expanded with a new vertical suspension model with a bold and vibrant design.‎ Through careful research and engineering, Cassina has given a three-dimensional form to the famous pattern created by Charles & Ray Eames, translating it into a creative structure in which each element contributes to defining a coherent, modular and recognisable system.‎ The new DOT PATTERN LIGHT model is part of this vision aimed at the infinite possibilities of evolution: a suspension lamp with a strong visual impact, a new decorative declination that joins the wall and horizontal suspension models presented last year.‎ This ceiling lamp finds its genesis in an original design by the Eames conceived for a showroom, but was never realised.‎ Proposed with six luminous spheres winding downwards in the dark, DOT PATTERN LIGHT elongates by exploring the vertical dimension of light, lending itself to large and deep domestic environments, as well as the contract sector.‎ The new vertical pendant lamp is proposed in matt white and matt black, in continuity with the graphic character of the entire collection, enhancing the contrast between the structure and the light source.‎ Through this new declination that dialogues with the space like a sculpture, light is modulated not only in terms of intensity, but also of rhythm, distribution and perception in space.‎
