FLUID JOINERY LIGHT - Настольная лампа из blown glass
Linde Freya Tangelder's sculptural sign gives shape to the new FLUID JOINERY LIGHT, a poetic object that narrates matter and light as a single gesture. The mouth-blown glass becomes a lens, traversed by a material tension that modulates the luminous glow, creating a visual harmony that envelops the space.
Suspended between sculptural solidity and luminous transparency, the model was born as a reinterpretation of the Fluid Joinery Side Table - I presented in 2025, whose formal essence it preserves, transforming it into a lamp of great impact. The proportions are reduced, the volume becomes a source of light, while the smooth, organic curved lines remain the protagonists of the design.
Like the small tables, FLUID JOINERY LIGHT is a precious object, the result of complex and refined craftsmanship. The lamp is made of a single volume of mouth-blown glass inside a cast iron mould and modelled by hand. In this case, the technique is even more sophisticated: the glass is layered and composed of three layers - transparent, opal white and coloured transparent - to obtain a finish capable of diffusing light in a unique way. The result is a material and evocative aesthetic, made even more intense by the two selected finishes: Fumé Green and Bronze Yellow.
The model also resonates an elegant visual rhythm, marked by the engravings that, like grooves, extend along the surfaces, suggesting the fusion of several elements into a single continuous form.
