Cattelan Italia MATERA Wooden coffee table set

Among current living room design trends, there is a clear preference for organic, sinuous forms, materials in placid, understated colours, and modular elements that bring dynamism to the home.‎Each of these characteristics is embodied in the Matera modular coffee table set whose curved and indefinite shapes go beyond a mere living room furnishing trend, offering an innovative formula for arranging elements at the heart of the living area that prioritises versatility and personality.‎ Matera is crafted in various shapes and sizes, each of which sits alongside the others in a single, soft embrace.‎ La composition of coffee tables forms a continuous line, where the curvature of one element is the natural progression of the next.‎ By pairing models of different heights, one creates a combination of concave surfaces that draw close, almost intersecting, to form a single sculptural table with a striking artistic impact.‎ The thickness of the top is generous, as is the curvature of the edge: a characteristic that gives Matera a tactile, natural appearance, almost reminiscent of a water-polished pebble.‎ This thickness and curvature also make it suitable for use as a sofa side table, acting as an extension of a rounded seat that echoes its proportions.‎ Finally, a particular visual dynamism and versatility of use is achieved by creating a composition of coffee tables paired with poufs in fabric or leather.‎ This pairing highlights the contrast between the polished, sandy finish of the coffee table and the soft padding and supple upholstery covers of the accompanying pouf.‎ Far from clashing, this heterogeneous composition becomes a stunning and harmonious multi-material sculpture.‎ Further info from manufacturer on MATERA Cattelan Italia
