Oleg is a cubic or spherical wooden container with many feet, simple and complex at the same time.‎ It can change its function by modifying its position.‎ It can colonise spaces with infinite combinations of modules.‎ The feet allow it to be positioned in different ways to create different pieces of furniture: bedside table, coffee table, coat stand, storage unit, lamp, console and much more depending on the randomness and imagination of the user.‎ This is why Oleg is also capable of responding to multiple demands coming from accessibility requirements.‎ It is precisely its combinatorial flexibility, its being able to modify functions and arrangements in a simple and immediate way, that makes it adaptable to different contexts of use and naturally oriented towards user accessibility: the shelves on the Oleg modules vary from a height of 50 cm to 85 cm, with an ergonomic use suitable for adults, children, able-bodied and wheelchair users.‎ The focus of the research was to obtain a versatile device, capable of being reconverted according to the changing needs of new lifestyles and, at the same time, suitable for creating new domestic landscapes by taking on shapes and sizes indicated by the context and imagination of the end consumer.‎ The product is designed to be made of wood.‎ The legs are turned and lacquered elements.‎ In addition, standard metal parts and screws tightened from the inside of the container are used to give maximum continuity to the external surface.‎ It has been awarded prestigious international prizes such as the Eurasian Prize 2021, the NOVUM DESIGN AWARD Gold 2021 and the A'DESIGN AWARD Silver 2021, which attest to its aesthetic, functional and evocative qualities.‎ It is also an art object: as a single product, aggregated with other modules, or even combined with other singular products to form contemporary art installations as in the One 4 All pavilion on show at the ‘SUPERDESIGN SHOW’ 2024 winner of the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2024.‎ Further info from manufacturer on OLEG Concepticon
