Conte Casa CHARADE Tanned leather Screen

Charade is a functional leather-covered screen with a writing desk, illuminated mirror and shelves.‎ Stanley Donen’s film, right from its title, plays with the concept of multiple appearances.‎ The same can be said of this multifaceted and multifunctional object, with its unruffled elegance.‎ Just as Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant, the stars of the movie, exuded an air of sophistication.‎ Charade goes far beyond the notion of a simple functional screen that conceals, contains, and displays: it is a presence rich with charm, inherent in its own microcosm, capable of conveying a timeless sense of elegance while simultaneously offering a vibrant stage presence in the domestic setting.‎ A small vertical stage in our living space, Charade lovingly encases and protects our most personal belongings.‎ An intimate, refined, and elegant corner that symbolizes an essential lifestyle marked by thoughtful and deliberate living—these are the hallmarks of Charade.‎ A simple interplay of vertical panels and a distinctive handcrafted comb-like hinge allows for the sophisticated and balanced construction of the screen, which, combined with the small writing desk, highlights its perfect and self-sufficient stability.‎ The panels are adorned with various elements—such as hooks, rings, trays, and shelves—along with the large mirror, dramatically accentuated by soft perimeter lighting, and the luminous sphere that moves vertically; these accessories define the operational features of Charade, a small stage play with actors at our service.‎ The choice to fully upholster all horizontal and vertical panels in leather, combined with the solid wood craftsmanship and metal details, gives Charade the ability to integrate personal and comfortable elements with great aesthetic value into any environment.‎ Charade Vanity upholstered in aged leather, featuring Canaletto walnut and burnished brass details.‎ Removable bubble lamp with an electrified track and backlit mirror.‎ Structure: Wood available in various finishes and colors Upholstery: Leather available in various colors Details: Burnished Brass, Painted Metal available in various colors
