H12 - BIC brick block
The BIC brick blocks, called PIGNATTE, have a shape, organisation of the partitions and resistance such as to allow the realisation of more demanding slab thicknesses with all the necessary arrangements for the affinity with the joists, for the correct arrangement of the reinforcement bars and with the requirements of the concrete casting.
BIC slab brick blocks are blocks of the interposed type sized according to NTC 2018, CE marked according to UNI EN 15037-3 and identified as Semi-Resistant as they participate in the transfer of loads to the joists and contribute to the final strength of the slab. They meet all the geometric and resistance requirements provided for by the same Ministerial Decree and guarantee, with the resistances offered, the stability, load-bearing capacity and stiffness requirements demanded of the floor by the seismic regulations in force as well as EUROCODICE 8. In fact, the presence of these blocks improves the behaviour of the floor by contributing to a reduction in the deformability of the decks and an increase in resistance to horizontal actions, allowing a more balanced distribution of these actions in the plane, (seismic actions), between the vertical resistant elements.
