District Eight NÔM Oak chair

NÔM draws its identity from Nôm - a Vietnamese script shaped by the balance and rhythm of calligraphic ink flow.‎ The hardback armchair distils the collection to its most resolved form: a sculpted oak backrest that reads as a single continuous line, hand-sanded at every joint until the transitions disappear into the surface.‎ A cushioned seat introduces measured comfort without softening the form’s composure.‎ Recognisable from across a room; at close range, the craft reveals itself in the precision of what it chooses not to show.‎
