SUPERGARD CLE is an innovative ready-to-use liquid inhibitor with a combined effect.‎ SUPERGARD CLE is a product with a simultaneous threefold action: inhibition of alkali-aggregate reaction (ASTM C1260-14), inhibition of rebar corrosion (ASTM C876), water-repellent effect (ASTM C642-13).‎ SUPERGARD CLE is a low viscosity liquid inhibitor that can be used for reinforced concrete impregnation in existing structures, as well as admixture in mass concrete to be added to new mix.‎ SUPERGARD CLE is based on a technology combining organic and inorganic protection mechanisms to provide maximum performance and protection even in case of very aggressive environments or exposure to corrosive marine environments and foreshore areas.‎ SUPERGARD CLE penetrates concrete and forms an integrated molecular layer that improves waterproofing and resistance to chemical attack, and consolidates the surface.‎ SUPERGARD CLE is used as a preventive measure to eliminate the risk of ASR (Alkali-Silica Reaction) that affects durability of concrete.‎ Testing conducted by the Department of Materials, Environmental Sciences and Urban Planning of the Marche Polytechnic University.‎ Advantages: Neutralisation of alkali-aggregate reaction; Protection against chloride-induced corrosion in reinforcement bars; Concrete Life Extender (CLE) technology; Protection even in case of contact with de-icing salts and marine environments; No negative impact on concrete properties; Easy application thanks to its liquid consistency with high migration capacity; Water-repellent protective action.‎ Uses: Concrete structures made of potentially reactive aggregates; Reinforced concrete structures above and below ground; Structures exposed to the indirect action of marine environment; Car parks and concrete road pavement; Structures in general exposed to de-icing salts in winter; Concrete surfaces of ancient structures having a high aesthetic value (lifespan extension).‎
