The DV821-Knot collection is a programme of furniture that includes a variety of elements such as desks, meeting tables, bookcases, benches and accessories that relate to each other through the morphology of the graphic sign. Starting from a structural requirement, the DV821-Knot system proposes a common language between products with different functions that combines performance, flexibility and iconic aesthetics. The ‘knot’ connecting the vertical and horizontal structural elements thus becomes the identifying detail.
Each element is designed to function independently or to be freely combined to create unique, functional and modular compositions.
The DV821-Knot table is transversal and perfect for meeting rooms, office environments and shared workspaces thanks to the different possible configurations.
The metal ‘trestle’ structure is available in two heights (H 75 and 107 cm) and is composed of two 35 mm diameter tubular metal sloping uprights and an oval crossbar soldered to the uprights. The fully bonded leg allows for quick assembly and less use of screws. The structure is available in various soft touch colours and as an option, the table can be configured with the beams covered in natural oak veneer.
The worktops are made of 25 mm thick Carb-certified chipboard and are available in various finishes, including the elegant soft-touch finishes to match the frames.
Structure and top are available in a monochrome combination for the metal beam version and can be freely combined for the wood veneered beam version, to blend harmoniously into any formal or informal office environment, in public or private settings.
The design of the DV821-Knot makes it easy and completely disassemblable, resulting in a fully recyclable product that meets the requirements of environmental sustainability.
