FONOLECA QUADRO is a sound-absorbing panel made of expanded clay leca concrete slabs, suitable for the construction of acoustic barriers.‎ Edil Leca 's acoustic barriers are made with a first layer of normal reinforced concrete which, with a density of 2400 kg/m3 has a structural and support function, and a second layer solidified to the first composed of lightweight leca expanded clay concrete slabs produced by vibro-compression through a certified industrial process, porous, with a density of 850 kg/m3 having a sound-absorbing function.‎ They allow the combination of surfaces and colours, guaranteeing an aesthetically pleasing appearance and meeting the following performance requirements: excellent soundproofing capacity; high sound-attenuation value; resistance to temperature excursions, aggression from exhaust gases and sodium chloride; no need for maintenance over time; excellent fire resistance; harmonious inclusion in the landscape while reducing environmental impact.‎
