Edra DIAMANTE Coffee table

Tables for sofas and armchairs or coffee tables, large size, made of strands of super clear transparent polycarbonate, green glass effect, “woven” by hand.‎ The name Diamante, dedicated to the friend Diamante D’Alessio, perfectly sums up the quality of this very pure material which sparkles like a parcel of diamonds.‎ Placed under natural or artificial light sources, the surface fragments the light into an infinite variety of shades.‎ Each object in Jacopo Foggini's collection is a sculpture unlike any other.‎ Heights, irregular widths, shapes, “minute fragments and natural imperfections of the material”, its colour and distribution, moulded by hand, make each example precious and unique.‎ Each Diamante table is different, but always sober and elegant.‎ The colours create a shimmering effect too, with light and shade effects produced by the variable density of the polycarbonate and the flow of the texture which makes the surface come alive.‎ The tables, made by hand with a unique top each time, are about 80 centimetres in size with three different heights.‎ They can be grouped together to create larger or smaller islands.‎ The conical metal base, available in three finishings (gold, palladium and ruthenium) also reflects light, colours and textures, making it an even more precious item.‎ Further info from manufacturer on DIAMANTE Edra
