Tip & Tap are structural elements used as backings for heat bridge-free fixation of lightweight objects on thermal insulation compound systems made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) and rock wool (SW).‎ For the screw connections in the Tip & Tap elements, there can be used simple self-tapping screws, wood screws, or large pitch cylindrical thread ones.‎ It is not reccomended the use of metric pitch screws or self-drilling ones.‎
