FIREBLOCK® BLACKPOR is an insulating panel composed of a sheet of sintered expanded polystyrene (EPS) with improved lambda, covered with a non-combustible layer of mineral fibres that gives it a fire reaction class of B-s1,d0 and a BROOF(t2) classification for roofing.‎ THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY λD= 0.‎031 and 0.‎030 W/Mk.‎ FIREBLOCK represents an innovation in the world of thermal insulation: it guarantees the excellent insulating properties of EPS without fear of fire.‎ It is the only sintered expanded polystyrene panel with fire reaction class B.‎ FIREBLOCK can also be used to create a sloped system: this allows you to take advantage of both the benefits of the sloped configuration and those related to fire reaction, which allow the system to be used even under photovoltaic panels.‎ FIREBLOCK is the only sintered expanded polystyrene system that guarantees a fire reaction class of B-s1,d0 and BROOF(t2) in roofing.‎ It can therefore be used in public buildings in compliance with current regulations, such as schools, data processing centers, commercial activities with a surface area greater than 400 m², hotels, and roofing with photovoltaic panels.‎
