There are essentially three elements that characterise EINSTEIN®: two larger spacers that work in pairs, and a special 'contact spacer' placed at the base of the block.‎ This element minimises the rigid contact between the slabs to just a few points at the base of each element, allowing the sand to penetrate perfectly around the perimeter of the slabs, creating a 'cushion' in the transmission of the stresses to which the flooring is subjected during use.‎
