TAURUS is the new EN54-25 compliant wireless fire alarm technology.‎ It uses an innovative protocol and includes a full range of high-performance wireless fire detection, control and alarm devices.‎ The TAURUS system implements MESH technology: if one of the expanders fails, the transmission of data relying on it follows the alternative path established during programming, thus guaranteeing continuity of communication.‎ TAURUS Wireless Fire Detectors The TAURUS family of wireless detectors includes optical smoke, thermal and multi-criteria multisensor (smoke and heat) detectors.‎ TAURUS detectors represent the latest in wireless detector technology; for smoke detection they use a dual optical path which, together with sophisticated algorithms, optimises both detection and discrimination of improper alarms.‎ TAURUS The TAURUS wireless manualfire alarm button comes with its own reset key.‎ Power is provided by two CR123A lithium batteries with a typical life of 10 years.‎ The button has a transparent protection flap that prevents accidental activation.‎ An optional case is available to protect the button in case of outdoor use.‎ TAURUS Wireless Wireless fire alarms are available in acoustic (sirens), optical and combined (optical-acoustic) types.‎ Wireless communication is two-way.‎ The siren allows 32 tones to be selected by dip switch.‎ Typical battery life 5 years.‎ TAURUS WirelessIN-OUT modules are available for controlling different devices and wireless IN modules for acquiring alarms from other devices.‎ An internal battery provides power for the module.‎ TAURUS wireless translator module The TAURUS wireless translator module is designed to allow the integration of wireless detection and alarm devices with any type of system, addressed analogue or conventional.‎ The device has a UNI 9795-compliant display that allows the visualisation of alarm or fault signals for each element in the field.‎ TAURUS wireless expander module The TAURUS wireless expander module allows radio communication to be expanded beyond what is possible from a single expander, relaying the radio signal to other expanders or field devices.‎ Requires external power supply.‎ LIBRAwireless series The LIBRA wireless series is the best-known wireless fire detection system with thousands of installations completed.‎ The LIBRA series includes smoke, thermal and triple technology detectors as well as pushbuttons, sirens and control and acquisition modules.‎ Addressable and conventional translators and signal repeaters complete the range.‎ All components of the LIBRA series are EN54-25 certified.‎ Survey & test kit Tested test kit with which the installer can check the quality of the wireless link at the installation site and consequently choose the perfect location for the wireless devices.‎
