Mutatio, meaning “change” or “transformation”, is an exploration of growth and evolution. Designed by Guy Buseyne, it is presented on a base finished in tobacco leaves, envisioned by Parisian interior designer Stéphanie Coutas. The base is available in three colors - natural, green and burgundy - and is an artwork in itself, contrasting brutalism with Buseyne’s contemporary artwork.
The bronze sculpture consists of three separate elements, allowing it to always be in a state of transformation, and is limited to editions of eight per base color.
The definition of luxury is always in flux. Different eras in history and different cultures have always valued the bronze material above all else. Bronze sculptures are not just beautiful but tell a wider story of craftmanship and authenticity.
