Glass Variations
MONOLOG
Freestanding glass shelving unit
In the MONOLOG collection designed by Exercice studio for Glass Variations the shelving unit stands for a large bookcase or a partition. Entirely made of grey tinted glass this low level, two-meter piece combines 3 horizontal shelves and vertical layers mounted diagonally. These overlays of surfaces allow the grey-tinted glass to be seen in all its variations from light grey to black when the extra-clear variation is nearly invisible.
Details: tempered glass, 10mm thick. The 3 shelves and the 8 vertical elements are assembled in Glass Variations workshops by an experienced glassmaster using the traditional technique of UV bonding, which ensures perfect stability.
Variations: smokey (grey tinted) high tempered glass or extra-clear glass

The MONOLOG collection, designed by EXERCICE studio, blends geometric figures with creativity. UV bonding gives the impression that the glass pieces were assembled invisibly as if by magic. The designers chose the name MONOLOG in reference to the unique use of glass as a material.
From coffee tables to invisible armchair and shelving units, the MONOLOG collection reinvents glass to make it more contemporary, with a refined and ethereal design. Extra-clear, gray-tinted, smokey or bronze glass... this collection never ceases to renew itself.
