Within the HELIA collection the designer Bina Baitel imagined two different side tables: one small and one called "sellette", a small table of intermediate height (62 cm) full of finesse. Its poetry and softness reside in the opalescent frosted glass tablecloth, which tops the column legs in wavy patterned glass. The color and shine fluctuate according to the light and the choice of the glass-variation for the tablecloth: satin-finished glass, almost white but translucent, or straw yellow, both pastel and warm colors.
Details: curved feet in patterned and corrugated glass «flute», laminated with an extra-clear glass. Tablecloth in high tempered glass, matt edges. Hand-assembled with UV gluing.
Variations for the tablecloth: Frosted (acid-etched) glass, straw yellow or powder pink printed with a light dot-pattern.
Manufactured in France, in small series.
Production lead time: 12 weeks.
HELIA by Bina Baitel features four pieces in curved “flute” and frosted glass, whose striped half-columns are topped by an opal lampshade. The variation in textures, colors and transparency of the glass creates a burst of light in a home or office. The HELIA console or side tables are softly adorned with a white frosted glass tablecloth, while the HELIA table lamps come in delicate color variations: powder pink, frosted white, ice blue, straw yellow and natural green.
