Hay DEVILLE Stackable aluminium chair with armrests

Deville is a stackable armchair made of aluminum.‎ A contemporary take on the classic bistro set, Julien Renault’s Deville Armchair reinterprets a familiar typology for today’s outdoor life.‎ Defined by its generous proportions and softly curved frame, the chair balances durability with an open, welcoming character – an invitation to sit, linger, and enjoy time outside.‎ Crafted from at least 60% post-consumer recycled aluminium, the rust-resistant chair is built to last while remaining easy to move and rearrange.‎ Stackable and offered in a variety of colours, the Deville Armchair balances practicality with quiet nostalgia, adapting easily to balconies, patios, cafés, terraces, and gardens.‎ A contemporary take on the classic bistro set, Julien Renault’s Deville Collection reinterprets a familiar typology for today’s outdoor life.‎ Defined by generous proportions and softly curved frames, the chairs balance durability with an open, welcoming character – an invitation to sit, linger, and enjoy time outside.‎ Crafted from at least 60% post-consumer recycled aluminium, the rust-resistant collection is built to last while remaining easy to move and rearrange.‎ The lightweight design extends across stackable chairs, armchairs, and compact tilt-top tables, available in a variety of colours, shapes, and sizes – making Deville both practical and quietly nostalgic.‎ French designer Julien Renault blends rational methods with artistic freedom in his approach to design.‎ Based in Brussels, he draws inspiration from everyday life, transforming the ordinary into something beautiful.‎ His work for numerous international brands reflects the deep connection between objects and their environments.‎ For HAY, Julien has designed the Pastis Table and Chair series, Compass Lamp Collection, and Layout Armchair.‎
