Incalmi ONORATA Rectangular walnut console table with drawers

Onorata is a console table with drawers inspired by the architecture of Carlo Scarpa and the design of the 1960s.‎ The proportions emphasise the design of the brass structure, which is the result of manual welding made with blowtorch between different materials with different melting points (braze welding) - a process that is impossible to carry out by machine.‎ Elegant and precious, the console is carefully designed with attention to detail: the edges of the front cut of the drawers are finished in brass set into the wood; the inside of the drawers is manually lacquered in deep orange, a colour developed exclusively for Incalmi.‎ The wood used is Canaletto walnut folder treated with natural oil.‎ The brass is also natural: a declaration of love to the sincerity of the material, which will become more precious over time thanks to oxidation.‎ Materials: Canaletto walnut, natural brass Processing techniques: Wood and metal working, lacquering Further info from manufacturer on ONORATA Incalmi
