The hand-knotted rugs are produced with the ancient technique of manual knotting in which the knots are tightened by hand, one by one. The shape of the knotting, the type of knot and its thickness give the rug unique characteristics. The quality of the carpet increases proportionally to the number of knots of which it is composed. The hand-knotted rugs are works of the highest craftsmanship.
