Lazzari RADIUS Fixed cement bollard

The RADIUS bollard is not merely a boundary marker, but a tribute to the history of architecture.‎ Inspired by the geometric perfection of the round arch - a cornerstone of Roman architectural heritage - RADIUS transforms a functional object into a contemporary concrete sculpture.‎ The uniqueness of RADIUS lies in its dynamic structure.‎ On each side, a series of concentric round arches carves into the monolithic volume, creating a refined interplay of solids and voids.‎ This configuration allows sunlight to pass through the object, casting ever-changing geometric shadows throughout the day and visually lightening the impact of the concrete without sacrificing its sturdiness.‎ Features Dynamic Seating: Its height and stability make it a perfect stool for brief breaks, transforming a street boundary into a gathering place.‎ Visual Architecture: The symmetrical design makes it ideal for installations in series, where the repetition of the arches creates a visual gallery of great aesthetic impact.‎ Durability: Thanks to the quality of the concrete mix, the bollard maintains its aesthetic integrity over time.‎ With its balanced proportions and flat top surface, RADIUS was designed as a bollard but lends itself perfectly to use as a single seat (urban stool).‎ Further info from manufacturer on RADIUS Lazzari
