LG Electronics’ new CDU DA 2,6 MW is an advanced liquid cooling system for artificial intelligence data centres that has achieved NVIDIA DSX Ready CDU qualification.‎ LG Electronics has completed the qualification of its CDU DA 2,6 MW, meeting the requirements set out in the NVIDIA DSX reference design for the DSX AI Factory platform.‎ This achievement follows the certification of LG’s 600-kilowatt (kW) and 1-megawatt (MW) CDUs, further underscoring the company’s ability to meet the growing thermal demands of high-density AI data centres.‎ Designed to efficiently manage the significant thermal loads generated by large-scale AI server clusters, the CDU DA 2,6 MW expands LG’s comprehensive ‘Chip-to-Chiller’ portfolio, comprising liquid cooling solutions and high-efficiency chillers.‎ Meeting the growing demands of high-density AI infrastructure With the continuous advancement of next-generation AI accelerators, including the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, the power consumption and thermal output of AI servers are rising rapidly.‎ As the power density of server racks now reaches hundreds of kilowatts, demand is shifting from conventional cooling configurations implemented at the individual rack level towards high-capacity, MW-class centralised CDU units capable of managing thermal loads across multiple high-density server racks.‎ LG has completed infrastructure qualification for the 600 kW, 1 MW and 2.‎6 MW models.‎ The 2.‎6 MW model has met the additional qualification requirements to achieve DSX Ready certification.‎ The NVIDIA DSX AI Factory platform unifies the design and operations of AI factories across computing, networking, power, cooling, facilities and software.‎ With the qualification of its 2.‎6 MW model, classified by NVIDIA as a ‘large-scale’ solution, LG further strengthens its position as a global manufacturer capable of meeting the CDU requirements for liquid cooling in AI factory infrastructure.‎ Further info from manufacturer on CDU DA 2,6 MW LG Electronics
